BDA+ Comp. A (15.0 kg / 33 lbs)
Product code: BDAP001
Part A of the BDA+ epoxy
BDA+ is a top-quality, new-generation 100 % solids epoxy resin system suitable for ambient and hot curing
Excellent Heat Resistance - continuous +80 °C, temporary +100 °C (176 °F / 212 °F)
15 - 30 minute working time (pot life), depending on the selected hardener
BDA+ epoxies have been tested and approved as part of the market's widest Boldan In-House Lining System® method certificate
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
Tolerates well the following:
- Dilute solutions of mineral acids - such as hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid
- Alkalis, such as lye and ammonia
- Typical solvents such as xylene, toluene, isopropanol, butanol, white spirit, mineral spirits, MIBK, butyl acetate
- Petroleum products, gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, brake fluid, crude oil
- Water solutions of most chemicals continuously +40 °C, temporarily +85 °C (104 °F / 185 °F)
- Can also withstand chlorinated water well, when the concentration of chlorine in the water is at the normal bathing water level
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Optimum mixing temperature: +20 °C / 68 °F
Mixing ratio 2:1
Color: white
Short-term ring stiffness, EN ISO 9969: 15.34 kN/m2 (DN 100 pipe, wall thickness 4.15 mm)
Styrene free
Does not contain Di-isocyanates
In installations where external water may enter the pipe to be renovated, a preliner is required
Note! Mix thoroughly before mixing with hardener
